Dumbest movie ever made! Made in Russia with English language, a man, maybe, is fitted with super human powers and then is able to kill hundreds if not thousands of like persons. Filmed in the first person as though you are seeing everything through his(?) eyes. The face of this killing machine is never revealed as the same should be said for the movie, don't see it. 0 bananas

Eye in the Sky

Helen Mirren stars as the officer in charge of ordering drone strikes on the enemy. A group of nasty sand eaters are located inside a house that a strike is called on, but  is continually delayed due to the presence of a little girl just outside the house selling bread; As multiple higher ups from different governments weigh in on the issue of collateral damage the suspense that had been building is lost due to the stupidity/complexity of what should be an easy decision in times of war on terrorism. 2 bananas

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot

A bored TV news producer, Tina Fey, volunteers for a 3 month stint in Afghanistan as a news reporter. In this true story of how 3 months becomes 4 years, Fey is embbeded with a group of Marines as the fighting rages on but the TV interest in the US wanes. Amongst the many parties with other journalists, friendships are made and lost due to self interests. Fey gives a serious performance in this very good movie. 3 bananas

DeadPool

Ryan Reynolds is hilarious in this spoof of the X-Men series from Marvel. Reynolds also known as Dead Pool becomes unkillable and disfigured due to an experiment that was suppose to cure his cancer. He now becomes a costumed anti-hero who kills worse people than himself. Many moments of fun comedy and some great one-liners as he tracks down the people responsible for his situation. 3 bananas

10 Cloverleaf Lane

John Goodman builds a doomsday bunker, kidnaps two people to share it with, while trying to convince his hostages that the world has been destroyed by alien invaders or a nuclear war. Quirky plot has many twists and turns which keep you guessing. Bizare ending leaves room for a sequel. 2 1/2 bananas

London has Fallen

Action, action and more action. The Prime Minister of England dies apparently of a heart attack; as all the world leaders assemble in London to honor him, terrorists with a well planned attacked take out most of the world leaders and much of London's historic buildings. Gerrard Butler stars as a secret service agent in charge of keeping  the President of the U.S.alive. Butler is combination of James Bond and Jack Reacher so you know how this movie ends, but it sure is entertaining. 3 bananas

Spotlight

True story of a special unit of reporters of the Boston Globe who are encouraged by a new publisher to dig deep into the background of the catholic church and its handling of the many pedophile priests in its region. Not good news for the church as a long time cover up is exposed to the highest levels. Well done reporting makes this a grade A movie. 4 bananas

Revenant

Leo DiCaprio stars as a tracker for a 1800's fur hunting expedition. The title should really be "Leo has a Very Bad Year", First he and his group are attacked by Indians, then he is brutally mauled by a bear, sees his son killed, buried alive, falls over a cliff, stranded in snow and eventually stab with a knife. Movie will probably win an Oscar for Leo. Magnificent photography makes this a bloody good  view. 3 1/2 bananas

Finest Hour

Based on actual story of a Coast Guard rescue at Sea in 1952. During a brutal winter storm a loaded oil transport ship  breaks in half with the back half managing to stay afloat. A young  coast guardsman is told to try and retrieve the men aboard the sinking ship knowing that the odds of getting out of harbor over a dangerous reef are next to impossible. Two story lines meld together; how the ship was kept afloat and the coast guard rescue. 3 bananas

13 Hours

Movie is based on true events centered around the 2012 Bengazi uprising. Small group of ex-Seals defend the US consulate that is housing a secret CIA intelligence group. Under manned and with no help from their command center, group fights bravely against a well armed and well directed enemy. Unbelievable that in today's age help could not be sent; Anyone voting in 2016 should view this movie to see how our government fails miserably!! 3 1/2 bananas
