One of the best movies of the year. Amy Adams , art gallery owner, and Jake Gyllenhaal, budding novelist, are divorced when Adams receives a draft of a novel written by Jake detailing the brutal and gripping murder and rape of Jake's wife and daughter. As the movie switches from present to novel, sub plots are everywhere making this a movie that you'd better bring your A brain to keep up with. The first 5 minutes are bizarre and intriguing only to be out done by the ending.
After viewing I'd suggest going to www.slashfilm.com and enter Nocturnal Animals to see just how much you missed in the movie.
The title refers to people who stay up all night. 3 1/2 bananas
