Seven Pounds

Will Smith gives his usual good acting job but the movie just drags along. To say much more would be to give away the plot/ending. See it but take a lot of munchies. 2 bananas out of 4.

Gran Torino

Clint Eastwood is terrific, probable Best Actor of 2008. Movie has it all, funny,serious, tragic, a great view. Clint lives in a changed neighborhood and befriends his next door, Humong neighbors. He goes head to head with the local gangbangers. 4 bananas out of 4.

Valkyrie

Entertaining, fast moving, fairly historically accurate account of a group of German WW 2 officers lead by Tom Cruise who plot the termination of Hitler. Cruise gives a very good, serious performance. Worth while seeing. 3 monkey bananas out of 4.
